  • 125 g unsalted butter, softened
  • 100 g light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of golden syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 160 g yeast flour
  • 150 g of chocolate, milk, dark or white divided into 0.5 cm pieces

Method :

  • To start making your chocolate chip cookies, preheat the oven to 180C, gas 4.
  • Beat the butter and sugar until light and creamy. Whisk the golden syrup in the butter and sugar with the vanilla essence. Mix the flour and chocolate chips until combined.
  • Take a teaspoon of the mixture, roll it into a ball and place it on a greased baking sheet, flattening it slightly with the palm of your hand. Repeat with the remaining dough, leaving enough room for the cookies to spread during baking.
  • Bake for 12 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let the chocolate chip cookies cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
